Wippersnappers is a new indoor playground located in Sandy, Oregon (about an hour and a half from Salem.) Your kids are guaranteed to get some amazing exercise here, and to have a blast doing it! It’s even fun for adults! If you happen to be up and around that way, it’s definitely worth checking out.
We have some family around the area so on Tuesday we decided to meet up there and make a day of it.
The second we walked into the building the kids’ minds were blown. The giant play structure was so bright and colorful and inviting. They could hardly contain their excitement! I barely got their shoes off before they tore off into the multi-layered labyrinth of padded jungle gym and obstacle courses. Everything was very clean and felt very safe. I was comfortable letting my two year olds loose to play right away!
There were trampolines, slides, a ball pit, hangy foam things, things to balance on and hang from, spin and swing around on, it was incredible! There were also scooters in a separate section, a rock wall for older kids and a fully enclosed toddler area for those under two.
One of the great things about this place is that parents are allowed to go in with their children. I spent a lot of time climbing, ducking and bouncing around with all of them! We went down the giant wave slides together so many times!
The kids played for two and a half hours! Luckily there is no time limit.
Wippersnappers offers a variety of snacks and beverages, including adult beverages (beer and wine.) I was super happy to be able to order a caramel macchiato right off the bat. After the long drive from Salem, I needed it!
And their pizza is delicious!
Overall we had an excellent experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Wippersnappers is fairly new and most of their business comes through word of mouth. Support them!! If you’re in the area, be sure to give them a try! We can’t wait to get up there again someday!
Socks must be worn at all times (Even adults! Remember if you want to get in there with your kids!)
$8 per child
$4 ages 2 and under (use of toddler area)
