If you happen to be in the area, Coolidge-McClaine Park in Silverton, Oregon is a wonderful place to stop and spend some time. Located conveniently close to historic downtown Silverton, this park is set in a peaceful wooded area alongside beautiful Silver Creek.
There’s a great playground and plenty of benches to sit back and relax on while watching the kids play!
The playground consists of two climbing structures (for different age groups) and a swing set which includes baby swings. There are plenty of slides, a great climbing wall and lots of bars to climb and swing around on.
This would be a great park to reserve for a birthday party or any other type of outdoor gathering! There’s a covered pavilion that holds 20 picnic tables as well as serving tables and a kitchen. There are also charcoal BBQs and picnic areas spread throughout the area.
Other amenities include paved walkways, horseshoe pits, a drinking fountain and bathrooms on site that are open seasonally.
There’s a short nature trail that leads you alongside the creek as well as a bridge over the water that leads into town (in case you wanted to do a little shopping or grab something to eat!)
Overall this is a very nice park to visit and we highly recommend it!
